Ray and Kristen met in 2008 through mutual friends at a birthday party. They bonded over their shared love of a few obscure bands (seriously, that stuff is important). Their relationship has weathered a heady one-year-plus-plus span of long-distance courting, a trip to Iceland, Ray's relocation to New York, an engagement, a breakup, a rekindling, another trip to Iceland; and through it all, a lot of good ol' home cooking.
