We recommend the Courtyard Marriott, 0.8 miles away, where we've booked a block of rooms for Friday, July 29 and Saturday, July 30th at a group rate of $89/night (plus tax). You should be able to book a room for the group rate by calling the hotel at 508-480-0015. Be sure to mention you're with the Sylvester/Elde gathering to get the special rate. Marlborough also has several other hotels within a short drive of the Sylvesters' along Boston Post Road West (Route 20), including a Best Western, Embassy Suites and Hampton Inn.
For the more adventurous, Boston is a 45-minute drive away. They also have a few hotels.
